My 4th Birthday, by Avery Jane
My birthday was a Ariel birthday. I played "pin the fin" on Ariel, my friends played it too. I played inside the water. I got presents. I like them and I even played games. We played like swimmin' in the water and sittin' in the water and go in the sprinkler a lot. We played goin' down the slide when we were swimmin'. I played sprinkler tried to catch me. We played who can make the bigger splash in the swimmin' pool. And they didn't do the huge...I did! I even liked the sprinkler ball. We watche Ariel Beginin's, it was even more fun. Added by Hallie: Avery had about 6 little girls over to decorate crowns, play in the water toys, dig for sea shells and eat Ariel bubble gum ice cream cake (very homemade). They had a blast and she loved all the fun princess, Ariel and Dora gifts...Thanks friends!
--Chloe: (during Primary program practice) My favorite scripture story is Princesses!
--Chloe: I'm hungry. Mom: What do you want to eat? Chloe: Um....BROCCOLI! (the next morning she wanted green beans!)
--We were driving to Grammie's one snowy Sunday night. Looking at the mountains, Chloe says, "I wish we could go in the mountains, but it is too slippery."
--I asked Avery to help Chloe brush her teeth, after about 1 minute of Chloe screaming "me do it" I hear Avery say to her..."No Chloe, we can do this the easy way or the hard way". Where would she have heard that!?
--Avery is really into spelling and reading right now. She read a sign at the frozen yogurt shop the other night and vocalized..."Now I'm thinkin' I shouldn't have put an "E" on the end of my sign for OPEN." We had told her that several times, but she had to see it in neon lights!
--We have in our ward a man that closely resembles Santa Claus. Chloe saw him in the hallway last week and said, "Jesus!"
--Today Avery had her kindergarten pre-assesment. Her teacher asked her to count as high as she could. 1, 2, 3...19, 21, 22, 23...When her teacher stopped and praised her for her good counting, Avery said, "yeah, but I forgot 20!"
--Avery walked with Grammie into the house just a chattering and jabbering all the way. As they got in the house Avery said, "Wow, that was sure a lot of talking!" And then started right back into more chattering and jabbering!
--Saturday morning Chloe was a little cranky and getting into some trouble and I finally decided she must be hungry, so I asked her if she wanted breakfast. She looked up at me said, "shank shoe", spun around and trotted off to the kitchen.
--Today Chloe saw a fly in the kitchen, with wide eyes and a surprised expression she exclaimed, "birdie!"
