We carved pumpkins tonight. Avery enjoyed it, though she is still a little young for the details of cutting out pumpkin faces.
While we were cleaning out he pumpkins Avery bravely tried grabbing some of the innards of the pumpkin. She decided that she did NOT like that. It was "wet" (said in a very distressed voice). We were proud of her for giving it a go though.
Avery picked the design for her pumpkin face and helped mom pull out some of the pieces and do some of the cutting.

Hallie and I carved three other pumpkins. One for me and her and one for Chloe Kate. We now have a family of pumpkins. Here is a picture of them all lit up.
